What actually is a microbrewery? When does a system for brewing beer become a brewery? It is not so much the word in the name, as we have delivered our equipment to many microbreweries that have the word “brewery” in their name. So what is the proverbial dividing line? It is the annual beer production capacity. Microbrewery capacity is below 20,000 hl of beer.

Our company provides equipment for microbreweries in different modifications with an annual capacity from 125 to 20,000 hl of beer and with brewing vessels heated by steam, hot water or electricity. Our products are made of copper and stainless steel and we can deliver both finished and turnkey products. We deliver mainly to customers with a high demand for a wide range of beers, e.g. restaurants, hotels, social and entertainment centres, but we will also be happy to help you with your home microbrewery in the garage. The average production time of the equipment for a microbrewery is about 4 to 8 months, so do not hesitate to contact us as soon as possible.

The set of microbrewery equipment by PACOVSKÉ STROJÍRNY comprises the brew kettle, wort cooler, wort fermentation tanks or vats, lagering and maturation tanks, sanitation vessel, beer filling tanks, ice water maker and other auxiliary equipment, such as grinder, hot water tanks, pumps, air compressor, control and measuring devices, etc.

The brew kettle is usually a two-vessel kettle with an integrated vortex vat or a separate vortex vat with a standard wort volume of 5 to 20 hl per batch. The vessels are made of stainless steel. The external shell of the vessels can be made of copper or stainless steel. The system can be heated by steam (steam of 0.4 MPa), hot water or electricity. The produced wort is cooled to the fermentation temperature in a two-stage plate cooler by well water, and in the second stage with ice water. To ensure the quality of fermentation, wort is aerated with sterile air by means of a stainless steel aeration tube. For wort fermentation and beer aging, the owner can choose single-phase or standard two-phase fermentation. Fermentation vessels, lagering, cylindroconical, transfer and filling tanks can be cooled by ice water or glycol from makers, which are also produced by PACOVSKÉ STROJÍRNY, or the lagering and filling tanks may be single-shell tanks installed in a refrigerated space. If the production of filtered beer is assumed, precoat filters are delivered; other equipment and instruments may be supplied according to demands.
